Barbecue of the Brazilians – OTC 2017

FGV Energia promoted on April 30th, 2017, in Houston – USA, the “Barbecue of the Brazilians” from FGV Energia in Rice University, place of great prestige and recognize, that had a focus of integration of the different sectors of oil and gas industry, the beginning of new partnerships and discussions to create a new business place.

The event objective was enjoying the realization from OTC 2017 – Offshore Technology Conference, during which important world actors of the oil, gas and energy industry was together to integrate, in the same environment, players, chain of suppliers, government entities, development agencies, research centers, development agencies and international delegations brought by consulates.

Faced with the current challenges and the great demand still exist on O&G Brazilian Sector, became more important and evident the creation of an optimisms environment.

In this scenario, the Barbecue of the Brazilians, searched to integrate all of the industry actors and contribute to retake the national industry to detach Brazil like an important hub of world investment.

The event was sponsored by the follow companies: American Airlines, Feveret I Lampert Lawyers, Total, Vieira Resende Lawyers, Delta Airline, Petrorio, Sproule e Oceânica. We also had the Institutional Support from MME, ANP, IBP, General Consulate from Brazil in Houston and of US Commercial Service in Rio.

Thanks to the almost 250 participants from all of de O&G industry, among them, government authorities, directory from the principals sector oil companies, which participated in the “Barbecue of the Brazilians”. The exchange of ideas and the positive atmosphere in this annual event are vital for our corporative culture and for the strong relationships of collaboration that are allowing a strong future for the industry.
