    Continuing its cycle of lectures, FGV Energia will hold this Friday, July 1st, the second International Energy in Focus of 2016. Addressing the theme Solar Energy - Strategy and Challenges for the future, the lecturer Mr. Arthur Haubenstock from 8minutenergy Renewables will be our guest, and Mr. André Pepitone from ANEEL as debater, thus providing interesting points about the topic.

    On June 15, FGV Energia conducted the launching of Distributed Energy Resources Booklet debate with the purpose of promoting a discussion on such resources, and how its inclusion may change the Brazilian power sector, in FGV - Getúlio Vargas Foundation headquarters.

    FGV Energia started its cycle of lectures Energy in Focus - Strategies and Challenges for the Future with a very special guest this year. Mr. Richard Kauffman, Chairman of Energy and Finance for New York Office of New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Chair of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Board shared the New York State’s experience with our public reshaping the business model of its power sector aiming to build a clean, resilient energy system accessible to all New Yorkers.
