Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and Master's degree in Energy Planning from COPPE/UFRJ. Her line of research involved a strategic vision of the electric power distribution sector facing the challenges of expanding distributed energy resources in Brazil. She holds post-graduate degrees in Process Engineering from PUC-RJ and Natural Gas Processing Engineering from UFRJ. Experience as Process Engineer in basic engineering project for Petrobras in the areas of supply and E&P. As a Researcher at FGV Energia, she works in the areas of the Brazilian electricity sector and renewable energy.
