FGV Energia, the Energy Studies Center of the Getulio Vargas Foundation, will hold a lecture on Energy Economics with David Zylbersztajn, on August 31 for the next edition of the Energy in Focus series - Strategy and Challenges for the Future. During the event, the guest will present his vision on the generation of energy, from his studies and his wide experience in the market of performance.

David Zylbersztajn holds a degree in mechanical engineering from PUC-Rio and a PhD in Energy Economics from the University of Grenoble (France). He was the General Director of ANP, Secretary of Energy of the State of São Paulo and was a member of the Board of Directors of Banco do Brasil. He is currently a professor at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) at the Energy Institute and a senior partner at DZ Negócios com Energia.

Since 2014, FGV Energia has promoted the series of lectures "Energy in Focus", with professionals from the top management of the energy sector. The objective is to discuss the political, economic and technological challenges for the development of the sector in Brazil.
