Getúlio Vargas Foundation was visited by ABC Federal University’s dean, professor Klaus Capelle, this Friday, the 20th, in order to strengthen the relationship between both institutions and promote the exchange of knowledge and skills between FGV Energia and the University. Created in 2005 and completing its first deanship in July this year, UFABC is headquartered in Santo André and serves all seven cities located in the region (Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo, São Caetano, Diadema, Mauá, Ribeirão Pires, and Rio Grande da Serra).

The president of FGV, Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal; Carlos Otavio Quintella, director of FGV Energia; Luiz Roberto Bezerra, coordinator for institutional relation at FGV Energia; and the full professor and coordinator of energy engineering at UFABC, João Moreira attended this meeting. “For us, from FGV Energia, it is really important and enriching to keep a constant contact with institutions having strong investment in research and innovation, such as UFABC,” emphasized Luiz Roberto Bezerra during the meeting.
