Power Track 2016
FGV Energia promotes actions to improve the quality of life
In line with its goal of producing knowledge to develop the country’s power sector and apply resources sustainably, FGV Energia promotes initiatives seeking to improve the quality of life of FGV community.
On April 16, an ecological walk in Tijuca Forest fully sponsored by Furnas was made as part of these actions. FGV employees participated in the “Power Track”, which included warm up with a physical education professional, walk through the visitors center and monitoring of specialized firemen.
Employees who joined the walk donated one can of powdered milk for Pró Criança Cardíaca Institute - medical nonprofit institution that serves over 24,000 children. Ninety cans of powdered milk were collected and will be forwarded for the Institute.
The idea is to increase the frequency of such initiatives, always seeking to improve the conditions that contribute to the physical and spiritual well-being of individuals and to cooperate to the growth and dissemination of healthy habits.
