Authors and experts debate Law and electricity in book
FGV Energia and the Rio de Janeiro Law School of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (Rio Law) are launching, together with Synergia Editora, the book "Relevant Issues in Electric Energy Law". The work, which is coordinated by Professor Fábio Amorim da Rocha, arrives at Tomo V and will be released on December 15th, at 7:30 pm, at the FGV Cultural Center.
Energy in International Focus - Energy Regulation: reflection on the experiences of Brazil and the USA.
Getulio Vargas Foundation, through its center of studies focused on the energy sector – FGV Energia in partnership with Firjan and Rio Negócios, promoted on December 1st, 2016 with the sponsor of the companies Furnas Centrais Elétricas, Itaipu Binacional, United Airline, Enel Brasil, Shell Brasil Petróleo, Petrorio e Wärtisilä Brasil, Energy Forum: VI Seminar on Matrix and Brazilian Energy Security.
Continuing its cycle of lectures, FGV Energia will hold this Friday, July 1st, the second International Energy in Focus of 2016. Addressing the theme Solar Energy - Strategy and Challenges for the future, the lecturer Mr. Arthur Haubenstock from 8minutenergy Renewables will be our guest, and Mr. André Pepitone from ANEEL as debater, thus providing interesting points about the topic.
On June 15, FGV Energia conducted the launching of Distributed Energy Resources Booklet debate with the purpose of promoting a discussion on such resources, and how its inclusion may change the Brazilian power sector, in FGV - Getúlio Vargas Foundation headquarters.
EDF-AREVA, along with UFRJ Nuclear Engineering Program, with co-organization of FGV Energia and institutional support of ABDAN, ABEN and SEEN, will hold the award ceremony for the EDF-AREVA Public Acceptance Competition on May 10, at 6PM in Getúlio Vargas Foundation – FGV headquarters.
