Through the development of studies and research focused on the energy sector, FGV Energia helps public, corporate, and third-sector organizations, in Brazil and abroad, implement innovative solutions and disseminate knowledge for the energy sector, in the areas of oil, natural gas, electric power, nuclear energy, biofuels, renewable sources, and energy efficiency.

These studies and research projects are carried out by a highly qualified team of PhDs, master's degree holders, and specialists with a solid academic background, and seek to address issues in this sector that contribute to Fundação Getulio Vargas's institutional mission of promoting Brazil's economic and social development.
