Ana Beatriz Soares Aguiar
Graduated in Chemical Engineering and holds a Master's in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Federal University of Alfenas (Unifal – MG), currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioenergy from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp – SP).
Worked as an intern at Alcoa's industrial plant in the Process Engineering area, carrying out activities focused on monitoring the production sector and identifying improvements through data collection and developing a production schedule for aluminum remelting, thereby optimizing furnace use.
During her Master's, she worked in the area of metal treatment and removal using the biosorption technique. The project she developed was titled: Biosorption Process of Cu (II) and Zn (II) by Anaerobic Biomass in its Granular and Powder Form - Analysis of Adsorption Capacity and Kinetic Study.
In her Ph.D., she works in the area of anaerobic digestion aimed at the energy use of biogas through co-digestion systems. Project title: Biogas Production from the Integration of Vinasse with Livestock Waste.
As a researcher at FGV, she works on projects in the Oil, Gas, and Biofuels sector.
