Guilherme Lencastre

Guilherme Lencastre graduated in Production Engineering - Civil from PUC-Rio and holds an MBA from IBEMEC-RJ. He has 18 years of experience in the electric power sector and began working at the Group in 1998 when the recently privatized Cachoeira Dourada Hydroelectric Plant was acquired by the Group. For five years he held the position of CFO for the Group's Generation companies in Brazil, when the Brazil-Argentina International Interconnection was already in operation (since 2001) and the Fortaleza Thermoelectric Plant was completing its construction and commissioning (December 2003). Starting in 2008, he took on the role of CEO of the Geração Brasil companies, covering the three companies with Generation, Transmission, and Energy Trading businesses.

Starting in 2014, he took on the position of Director of Infrastructure and Networks Business Development for the Americas. He currently chairs the Board of Directors of Enel Brasil.
