Leonam Guimarães

Leonam dos Santos Guimarães holds a Ph.D. in Naval and Ocean Engineering from USP and a Master's in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Paris XI. He is CEO of Eletrobrás Eletronuclear, a member of the Standing Advisory Group on Nuclear Energy of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency – IAEA, and a member of the Board of Representatives of the World Nuclear Association – WNA. He was President of the Latin American Section of the American Nuclear Society, Technical-Commercial Director at Amazônia Azul Tecnologias de Defesa SA – AMAZUL, Assistant to the Presidency of Eletrobrás Eletronuclear, and Coordinator of the Nuclear Propulsion Program at the Navy Technological Center in São Paulo – CTMSP.
